I was born in 1971 and raised in the southwest of Germany. My Grandpa paid my first guitarlessons when i was seven years old. First i didn't liked it, but after i saw "KISS in Concert" (on TV) it became nearly impossible to seperate me from my guitar! Besides the six string i was interested in nearly every instrument i could put my Hands on.Especially Synthesizers put a big spell on me. I've played the Xylophones in the school orchestra and acted as Singer and Lead guitarist in the school Band. Soon i discovered that i'm rather interested in createing my own music instead of playing in a Band.(And i've joined a few). In 1987 i was hooked up with a 4-Track Recorder and some crappy equipment to recorde my first (i made 3) Demotape and studied some more musical theorethics. With the beginning of the 90ies i expanded to my first MIDI- Setup and finally i was able to create music the way i wanted it to be. Besides that i was running "THE FORGOTTEN" (No,not the Punk Band). An Instrumental Rock Duo with my mate "Manuel Bumb" who used to play the Bass guitar. We've played a lot of live Gig's and produced two Demotapes, but we've stopped in '94 because we both had to put our attention to our private lives. It took two years ('96) before i found the time and the right circumstances to compose again. In '98 i've tryed to combine my "New Age" music with some "Drumm&Bass" and "Techno" tunes. So i've founded the projekt "PARK DE LUX" (with "Alexander Seewald" and "Peter Pogrezeba"). The results were captured on MiniDisc and reached some airplay all over Europe via "Evosonic Radio". After that Alex started to create his own music ("ANALOGWERK") and Peter moved to New Zeeland! Myselfe almost quit making music at all! I felt like i was at "Point Zero" ,unable to be creative. So in '03 i decided to move to Switzerland. I build up my new little Studio and decided to release all my music done so far on CD. "Episodes 1" was my first release (ten years after it was recorded!!!). But i wasn't that lazy than i thought. Now and then i found the time to compose some new tunes and suddenly material accumulated from '00 to '04.Enough to be presented as my new Album... "Towards the blue horizon".

Andre de Waal e-dition magazine (Netherlands) "Meyer makes a tasteful mix of guitar music over layers of keyboards and drum machine rhythms. This indeed sounds smooth and contains enough sting. Nice riffs and solos fly out of your speakers. Magnificent title track and the closing track is an exercise in meditative hard rock. This is an excelllent release." Artemi Pugachov The Encyclopedia of Electronic Music (Russia) "Great music. A special album in many ways. The synth's are delivered with real taste, featuring restrained, masterful programming. He has created some great sounds and overall the synth production is so smooth that I only can put my hat off. His talent is quite obvious. The guitar is played immaculately as well. I can't even compare his style to other artists. He has proved to be a a first class improvisation artist. Every track here is a winner, with the awesome title track leading the way."
