1. Maple Street 2. Higher Purchase 3. Magical Mystery Girl 4. Norman Doesn't Know
Anthony Holloway: Bass, Vox Ashton Mills: Guitar (mainly lead, except for maple street*) Phillip Lord: Guitar Soliman Edris:Drums Red Bubble Club have been around for 2 years in november. We began with experimental prog jam session in phill's room, as a members of existing oxford bands. When we realised that the music we were playing was more advanced and more enjoyable than that of our other bands, we decided to get semi-serious and recorded some stuff on a disused tape recorder. Time went by and we played a number of gigs in local pubs, and our style began to develop, we wrote more lyrical songs, some meaningful and some fun. In July 2004 we played at the prestigeous 'Oxford Zodiac.' Gigs became far more frequent as a result of our 'Demo 1' made in Singtech studios (our mates garage- he even charged us.) We were offered a recording session at Truck Studios on the 'Truck club Juniors' project and took that up in good grace! We then recorded this CD, 'Maple Street' with Robin Bennet- one of the Truck head honchos, and lead singer of succesful oxford band 'Goldrush.' Several months later we got the money to get the CD professionally mastered by local music elite Tim Turan. The following week the CD began the manufacturing process with the CD mule (great guy, we payed him in oats.)
