SONiA's first studio album since the GLAMA award-winning CD, "Me, Too" is a 47-minute journey of the heart. "No Bomb is Smart" offers a blend of bluegrass, blues and country to the performer's already eclectic mix of recordings. "It's all strings and wood," says SONiA gearing up for a round of festival performances on her "peacekeeping mission." 
            
The latest release, with 11 originals and one cover of Phil Ochs' tune, "No More Songs," was recorded in Nashville and introduced to musiclovers in January in Australia . 
            
"This CD is a total knock-out," says Paul of Peter, Paul and Mary. With a strong show of force by studio musicians Ed Snodderly (also of "O Brother Where Art Thou"), Craig Krampf, Kenny Greenberg (Gospel Album of the Year), Pat McGrath, and Hank Singer. 
            
The CD was produced by the Grammy-winning team of Krampf and Cuomo. SONiA's sister CiNDY (aka disappear fear) provides harmony on 10 of the 12 tracks.

From the peaceful, absorbing 'Won't Let Go', Sonia makes elegant steps into a powerful 'I Am the Enemy' - taking Lennon's 'Imagine' idea to a whole new level. Sonia ventures into a whirl-wind of Political statements in 'No Bomb is Smart'; heroically singing "CNN how can you glorify this drama...have you noticed that America's on fire...fuelled by the high octane Bush bang bang empire". This extraordinary album ends with a climatic 'The Other Man', describing the consequences of not voting and not caring, Leaving the listeners with the heart-trenching piano ballad 'Rio's Home'.
            
This album is tryly magical, it evokes the bravery and wisdom of John Lennon and the musical genius of Joni Mitchell-do not overlook this album, its better than any of the superficial, meaningless sounds out there on radio.
